typesetting

For the Journal I also participated in typesetting. Typesetting was done in InDesign, I attended a tutorial hosted by our Design leader, Rachel Burningham.

After this tutorial I was able to aid the Journal in typesetting other articles. The importance of typesetting was to make sure the article was aesthetically pleasing and easy to read when published.

In order to ensure that the article was ready for publication we searched for stacks, rivers, widows, orphans and hyphens.
