Design team
On the Design team I was led by Rachel Burningham, who was very effective in teaching our team about Indesign and Photoshop. She was a great leader and educator, I never left her tutorials confused or with any extra questions.
On the Design team we tested out different marketing designs and logos. We wanted to incorporate UVU’s essence but with a taste of our own originality. This appeared in the form of different colors, like blue and light green.
We also learned many tricks in Photoshop and InDesign, in order to create ideal logos and photos for the Journal’s marketing. We also went over stock photos and photo submissions to decide what to publish.
